Small Attributions, Great Harm

     There’s this scene in hell:
Two sinners arrived. One was a murderer, the other, a writer of erotic novels and many pornographic books.
Satan pronounced two different dooms, to each of these men. “Intense and swift fire for the murderer,” he commands to his underlings. “And slow and unconsumed fire for all eternity for the morbid writer.” He ordered with a grin.
Trembling, the writer asks Satan, “why this discrimination? I have not robbed, I have not harrased, I have not killed nobody, and you punish me worst than that vile murderous beast?”
“You wretch!” Satan reply with sheer hatred that can be seen in his red and dire eyes, “how come you dare to protest? The sins of this murderer, are nothing in comparison with all the ones you have; he just killed six people. But you instead, since you wrote all your banal, and pornographic books and magazines, thousands of men and thousands of women had become indecent, and thieves, murderers, degenerated, drug addicts and atheists,” then with a grimace he continued. “And many others are falling, and will follow straying and damning till the end of the world.” Satan proclaimed, and a guffaw of terror filled the underworld.
“But… but is not f...fa…fair” The writer couldn’t say more, he was frozen. Frustated remembering all what he did, and all the pleasure he got, and all the money he received for doing it. Now he couldn’t use it to save himself, he was helpless and a chill scoured his body that felt worse than brimstone.
“Bu, bu, but. You whiner scumbag!” said the evil one. “I have a plan to damn humanity you know, I don’t have time to chitchat with a damned repugnant human being. Throw him to the fire pit!” He ordered at last with a horrendous cry.
The poor disgraced soul youled and striven, when two demons lunged him, lifting the writer with their spears to take him to spend all eternity in desperation and agony.
Satan was pleased. For more and more men and women entered in his reign. There was elation in hell. The devil reunited all his dark angels and said to them: “Go my friends. Go to the world, and don’t be satisfied with misfits, we need to spread evil and infect it to each and everyone of those humans of God. From now on our weapons will be the mass media: press, radio, television and internet, movies and all types of public consumption products.” He finished with coleric proud, and all the minions rejoiced at Satan’s ill speech.
All the lost souls will arrive into the furnace of fire, where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
‘I will give to every one of you according to your works.‘ (Apocalypse, Chapter 2, Verse 23)

On Reading Well

In order to master the art of reading, we need to be an everyday reader. A couple of hours a day, or from fifteen to thirty minutes for those who struggle with time, are just recommended. We need to approach to the selected book we will read, with an open mind toward it's content, knowing what we’ll encounter on it, and what we may find of value in it.

Don’t look a book as a chore to read, never do it. If you’re going to read a book, do it because you want it, not because someone told you to, or to earn points in school. Today, many—if not all—of the schools around US, from elementary to high school, have this kind of program in their scholar year. I think it’s great, and that foments the habit of reading in some children, not all of them. Let’s face it, the way they do it in some districts are just wrong.

The other day, I told my thirteen year old nice, if she wanted to read a book I just finish reading, and that it was awesome. I told her, cause it seemed to me that she liked to read, since I saw her with a book last week. “I don’t know,” she paused. “Do you know if they’ll give points for reading it?” It was her response.

I look at her astonished and laugh, I couldn't help it. “They give you points in school for reading a book?” I said at last. “Yeah, and in the end of the year depending of how many points we have, they give a gift or something,” she answered back, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. They were promoting reading, which already was a gift, with a gift.

Some students will find read as a pleasure, but the ones who don’t linger with the amuse of reading, will just find read, as something they rewarded you for doing it. Which I found wrong.

I believe that reading must be taught in school as an art, in a way that can stay in the children so they can enjoy it, and not just something they have to do.

At last, the mastering of read should start in an early age. Forming a well educated person, that see books as a way to enrich life in all form, now that reading is a godsend, and will benefit everybody with a blessing harvest in the present, but also on the hereafter.

This is the first words I enter in this new blog I've created. I hope that my humble ideas and inspiration bring to you goodness happiness and peace. This blog is gonna be used by me, for you. My wish in writing this blog is that reaches to the remotest places of the World. This world that's running toward it's doom. But not because the Mayans, Hopi indians, Nostradamus, or any other visionary, saw destruction, wars and chaos and termination. Our world may come to an end, because our selfishness and arrogance. Is something we can avoid, and I said we: 'the whole world'. We got to unite and bring understanding to our houses and communities first.

The government must know, that we—the people—are more in number and we'd elected them, and pay their checks. We're the ones who can decide if we go to war or if we want peace. There are many persons out there, who believe in the government. And there are many who don't. There are many bad humans out there, but they're not bad. What they are is that there is no comprehension of the outside world. They just live in their world, and their world is not enough.

This is a time to construct a road towards new ways to collide with one another. This is a time to meet us in the middle. This is a time of change, a radical change for the whole world. For everyone and each human being that live in this marvelous earth, we call home. Home for every race, every creed, every idea, every self.

I want to end this first blog not with a goodbye, but more with see you soon.
