The Young Writer's Mind

Some writers have a problem in communicating or talking, because they got so many stuff inside their minds. And to be able to develop a remarkable speech, they need to do a lotta rewrites in their heads, that need to be put in order, so people can understand what theyre saying.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m just thinking out loud here. This is what I had figured out about me. Since I got fully interested in the written word—a few years ago—I started to understand that I communicated better on print than with speech. I always spoke juxtaposing the words backwards everytime I spoke; it was a mess.

I began to think that I was dyslexic, until I found what the word really meant. But I started to read more and more books in my late teens, and I realized that I’ve never had a problem with reading. What happened was that I didn’t commenced early in the habit of reading; I wasn’t reading between lines, so to speak.

In my way toward readership, I found other writers, who too—and some may denied ithave a lack of skills in communication. I saw that they were loners, like me. So all we've had was books and it’s content. But I began to decipher that a good story was full of speech and dialogue. And the way to write a good story was to know how to speak to others, not long monologues with oneself, but to one another.

Reading books, watching documentals, and a movie or two, had helped me a lot in the endeavour oftalking right.’ I still struggle to make ends meet with my tonge, but knowing that I had a problem, helps me to do better, in the process of speak my mind out.

Books are the best way to self teach how to speak right. There are a lot of nonfiction books that teach how to give a good speech, or to develope better communication skills, and they are perfect for the shy person. On the long run, create a conversation with several people, that will help you grow your character stronger, and get a rich understading of why speak it's an everyday necessity, and we need it in every part of our lifes, that's why people like stories with dialogues in it, then long boring monologues, and one character story.
